to the Parent Participation Program
At the beginning of each school year, teachers provide each family with a classroom budget proposal for the school year, which includes an itemized description of expenditures and estimated budget. Expenditures includes classroom materials and supplies, outdoor field trips, technology and other enrichment programs.
The budget is divided by each student to determine a suggested donation. Donations are not mandatory, but highly appreciated and are tax-deductible.
Any money not spent in the current school year follows your child's class to the next grade so the following teacher can use the money.
If your employer sponsors a company matching program, please indicate it on the donation form. We encourage families to tap into these company benefits for your kids in the classrooms. Please work with your company’s Human Resource Department to kickstart the process early and submit the form to them at your earliest convenience as past experience has shown us that this process may take a long time (see attached form for details).
